Legend has it that the Primitivo was the wine served at the Last Supper. This Primitivo comes from the selected Alberello vines that give extra fine fruit. The grapes have been fermented in big oak casks, and then matured in a mix of both French and American oak - which results in this wine s special oaky, chocolate character. This wine goes best with grilled meat, pizza, pasta dishes and cheese. Best served  at 18°C
